TwitterBar is a Cool Firefox addon which helps you to post tweets without opening twitter.com. Because you can post updates to twitter right from your Firefox addressbar. After installing this cool Firefox addon ,a small twitter icon will sit next to your addressbar (see the screen shots below). Clicking on the icon will post your tweet.

Features of TwitterBar:

Post the URL of the page you’re currently reading by clicking the TwitterBar icon in the address bar.

Search Twitter from firefox address by appending –search to your keyword.

You can also post by typing "--post" at the end of your tweet.
Hover your mouse over Twitterbar icon to see how many characters you have left.
